Claurelle Poole
Co-Founder and Managing Director of Engage Media Corp, Claurelle Poole directs the company’s strategy, finance, and day-to-day operations. Prior to this role, Claurelle led research on economic strategy at the Institute for Competitiveness & Prosperity, co-authoring key papers that influenced Ontario government policy on venture capital and government fiscal policies. During her tenure she led with the Executive Director the research team, finance, and stakeholder consultation process at the Institute.
Engage Media was born of her recognition that rich media messaging, although popular, must evolve from the 30-second commandment to an open dialogue with consumers for them to invest in discovering distinct products and ideas. Through Engage Media, Claurelle has grounded the video solution in strategic consumer insights, affording clients greater profitability as a key outcome.
Claurelle received a B.Com from University of Toronto, magna cum laude, with a concentration in finance and economics.
Christian Schoepke
As Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Engage Media Corp, Christian Schoepke leads the creative process and new media technology development and application in the company. Christian brings over 11 years of award-winning broadcast and production experience to Engage Media. Since his first placement with one of Germany’s largest broadcasting groups in 1996, Christian has held producer positions with Rogers Communications Inc. and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Engage Media is the most recent company to be founded by Christian. He founded Unrestricted Creations in 2000 to address the localization needs of multinational organizations such as Air Canada, BMW, and Nike, offering Canada’s largest roster of multilingual voiceover talent. This localization capability has since been integrated with Engage Media’s offering.
Christian co-founded Engage Media to advance the platform from which highly customized media solutions can evolve, setting a new standard in on-demand video experiences for business.
Christian is a contributing author to a number of industry publications, and holds a B.A. from University of Toronto in Political Science and Economics.
